The former Bank of Ireland, located on a prominent corner in the town, and lying vacant for a number of years, has been transformed into a craft shop and maker space, with a series of workshop spaces for artists to work in, as well as a retail space to sell their work. An old yard to the rear is to be converted into a market space with food trucks, market stalls and space for music and performances, bringing vibrant activity back to the centre of the town.
