A COMTEMPORARY RURAL DWELLING

The site layout is based on traditional farmstead arrangements consisting of a collection of buildings around an external courtyard. Existing stone buildings and mature trees on site are being retained to maintain the rural character of the site. An old orchard with a handful of remaining trees will be reinstated to form a private secluded garden. The buildings arre designed to passive house standard and will incorporate rainwater harvesting and solar panels.
